On Saturday 9th June our newest defibrillator was officailly unveilled by The Mayor of Fareham Mrs Susan Bayford who was accompanied by Councillor Sean Woodward.
The defibrillator is situated outside Sarisbury Green Community Centre who on Saturday held their annual event ‘Show On The Green’. It was a fantastic day and great to see so many people from our local community enjoying themselves in the sunshine. Many local groups had stalls and put on demonstrations, including a brilliant show from Locks Heath Pumas Cubs- well done guys! Before the official ribbon cutting by the Mayor we held a demonstration accompanied by motorbike paramedic. Gemma gave an inspiring speech and the public were as generous as always, dropping their change into our collection bucket. Denise and the team manned our stall, running a tombola and selling cakes which proved very popular! All in all a brilliant day for the whole community and a great success for The Foundation!!
